In the previous lesson, we explored the many types of loss that migration can bring. In this lesson, we turn toward what naturally follows loss: grief.

Migrational grief is often misunderstood because it does not always look like traditional bereavement. It may come and go, appear in unexpected moments, or be minimized by others who cannot see what has been left behind.

This lesson helps us understand why migrational grief is often invisible, why it is frequently dismissed, and why recognizing it is an important step toward healing.
